The Šariš region, situated in the northern half of eastern Slovakia, was an important territorial-administrative unit in the past. The strategic northern border with Poland and several important trade routes crossing the entire territory of Šariš were responsible for a large number of royal and noble settlements of both defensive and representative character.
Therefore, as the Regional Tourism Organisation (hereinafter referred to as "OOCR") of the Šariš Region in its project "Šariš Castle Route" we highlight the beauty of historical monuments such as castles, manor houses, castles, castles, fortifications and town fortifications. All sites deserve attention as they are part of our history. We have linked them together on the internet portal www.sarisskahradnacesta.sk and published accompanying booklets.

You will find photographs of monuments and sites, basic information about their development, history or current state and necessary contacts. It also includes a map, which you can use to navigate in the terrain. The app is easy to use and works even without the internet when downloaded to your phone.

On your mobile phone or tablet you can from the URL: app.sarisskahradnacesta.sk start the PWA application Šarišská hradná cesta. When you confirm continue, you will be instructed to install the app icon on your mobile desktop. On the top right, click the three dots above each other and select Add to desktop. Subsequently to confirm icon and You mean Application. The app icon is automatically installed on your mobile screen. The app will also work offline without internet
