Free workshops will bring music, dance, crafts and the flavours of the border region to Veľký Šariš!
When? Over the weekend of 4–5 July 2026
Where? TJ Slavoj Sports Complex in Veľký Šariš
The event offers experiences, creative activities and the chance to explore the Polish-Slovak border region Border towns filled with music. In addition to free workshops, visitors can look forward to a supporting programme in the form of folk festival, Gastrofest, performance files from the border region and activities for children.
The main aim of the event is to show that traditions need not remain confined to the stage or to memories. Visitors will be able to experience them first-hand – through music, dance, crafts, singing and regional cuisine. The workshops are designed for children, families, young people, senior citizens and anyone who fancies discovering the cultural heritage of the border region in an active and experiential way.
The ‘Towns on the Border Full of Music’ event will take place as part of the Interreg Poland–Slovakia project:
Preserving from Oblivion – Border Culture: from Grybów to Veľký Šariš, co-funded by the European Union.
