Do you love photography and like to discover the beautiful places around you? Join\u00a014th edition of the photo competition Go and take pictures 2026<\/strong>\u00a0and show how you perceive the Pre\u0161ov region through your lens! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This competition is open to amateurs and experienced photographers alike and gives you the opportunity to capture exceptional places, people, culture, nature or the atmosphere of our region. The best images will be awarded and presented to the public - not only at the award ceremony, but also at the\u00a0travelling exhibition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Jury and prizes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Your shots will be decided by an expert jury headed by a renowned photographer\u00a0Jano \u0160tovka MQEP<\/strong>. In addition to the main prize - quality hiking boots from the BOSP brand - other interesting prizes may be awarded.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New in 2026<\/strong>\u00a0is also the aim to reward young talents: there is a special category for children up to 15 years of age\u00a0Children take photos<\/strong>, to which entries can be submitted by their legal representatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, a special prize will also be selected by\u00a0Museum of Joseph Maximilian Petzval<\/strong>\u00a0in Spi\u0161sk\u00e1 Bela, named after a renowned photographer and optician, and determine your favourite.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get involved<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The competition lasts until\u00a011 October 2026<\/strong>, so you have plenty of time to go out and capture the beauty of the Pre\u0161ov region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
