At the end of 2021, the municipality of Sokole made a strategic decision to take responsibility for the improvement of the National Cultural Monument Sokole Castle. After four seasons of systematic work, they now invite you to the ceremonial handing over the restored part of the castle to the public.
The event will take place on Friday May 8, 2026, starting at 12:00 p.m. at Sokol Castle, with the participation of Chairman of the Košice Self-Governing Region Rastislav Trnka.
The main item on the agenda will be making available Views from the tower of Sokol Castle, which is the output of the eponymous project supported by the Košice Self-Governing Region in the Terra Incognita programme.
